Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question for our team? Then you’ve come to the right place! Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions our patients ask us every day. If you still have a question after reading this page, please be sure to call and ask us! We’re always happy to take any extra time you need to better understand your dental care.

Crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, dentures…How can I learn more about these procedures?

The best place to start is right here on our website. Simply go to our service page and you’ll see a list of links that will direct you to more information about these services and more. If you’d like to know which ones may be right for your particular smile, all you need to do is call us and schedule and appointment. We’re always happy to explain anything about our treatments.

Does your office use dental lasers?

We do, and we actually have two distinct types. With DIAGNOdent, we can catch the signs of tooth decay faster than ever, allowing us to prevent cavities from ever developing in the first place. It uses a beam of light to create a readout your dentist can easily use to assess your dental health.

We also have something called a soft tissue laser, which is ideal for sensitive periodontal therapy treatments for gum disease. It can instantly vaporize harmful bacteria and painless remove gum tissue at the same time, all the while reducing a patients risk for bleeding and post treatment swelling. It can even be used to cosmetically recontour a person’s gum line.

How can I make my teeth whiter?

The quickest and safest way to make your smile dramatically whiter is to use one of our professional take-home kits. It will consist of a set of custom-made mouth trays that will fit comfortably over your teeth and a powerful bleaching gel, much stronger than anything you buy at the store. You’ll simply need to use the kit as directed to make your smile up to 8 shades whiter in as little as two weeks!

Is there a difference between over-the-counter teeth whiteners and professional teeth whiteners?

Definitely. First, our take-home kits are designed to fit each patient’s particular teeth, making them much more comfortable. Plus, over-the-counter whiteners tend to be either too weak to deliver dramatic results or so strong that they can actually harm your teeth. When you whiten your smile with us, we can give you exactly what you need while keeping your teeth safe. Nothing you buy at the store can give you this guarantee.
